Now that enterovirus is in the tristate area. It seems to be primarily affecting asthmatics or people with immune deficiencies, amongst them children are the most affected. It is very important that all patients with asthma get it as under control as possible prior to the winter. Please make sure to have the right inhalers and to get your flu vaccine. They should do all the things that they were t...aught to do in the doctor’s office to control their asthma as much as possible. Threat all infections promptly. If you are an asthma patient and have not been checked recently they should be seen as soon as possible to establish the status of their asthma and to make sure they are prepared for this potentially challenging winter.
