We are now entering winter and this is the time of year when people are indoors with their pets. Whether they are dogs, cats, guinea pigs, birds or any other of the less common types of pet they all contain allergens. If you are allergic to these pets the first recommendation is to remove them from the home. Often this option is not possible so the second option is to section off the pet to a par...t of the house or a crate to try to contain the allergens. A dogs urine and saliva and a cats skin is where the allergen comes from so again try to contain where they can go and keep them as clean as possible. Also a dog that likes to lick should be controlled as much as possible to limit the exposure to allergen. The rooms they are limited to should contain a Hepa filter and also the rest of the house should have a separate air filtration system.
