As we find ourselves entering the cold weather season... indoor allergens start playing a more prominent role as the fall pollens are dying down outdoors. This is the time of the year for patients with allergies to dust mites and mold to take action. If you have dust mite allergies consider removing carpets and encase your mattress and pillows in a dust mite proof encasement. Also remember to wash bedding at least once a week in very hot water.
